Karachi: Nippon Paint (Pakistan) (Private) Limited, a Japanese multinational, the largest paint manufacturer in Asia and the 3rd biggest paint company in Pakistan, has co-sponsored the IAPEX Building and Material Exhibition being held at the Expo Center Karachi from 16-18 April. At the ongoing IAPEX in Karachi, Nippon Paint launched their latest paint innovation, Nippon Spot-less which is a water-based emulsion that repels stains and is highly washable. Nippon Spot-less Pakistan’s first environment friendly “Green” paint product and is a first truly odour-less emulsion paint in Pakistan. It is currently the only paint in the market that has near zero Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), a major source of indoor air pollution found in most conventional interior paints.
Therefore, this new product is perfectly suited for “occupied space” applications such as current homeowners’ premises, hospitals, healthcare facilities, schools, restaurants, hotels, public spaces and commercial buildings. Nippon Paint has set up physical demonstrations that highlight Nippon Spot-less as being truly odour-less and easily washable along with the ability to repel stains.
Governor Ishratul Abad inaugurated the IAPEX Building and Material Exhibition and well known construction companies and prominent architects including Yasmeen Lari, Shahab Ghani and Habib Fida Ali are expected to visit the Nippon Paint exhibit. IAPEX 2010 showcases traditional and contemporary building material and finishes, hardware, paint, décor, furniture and many other building and home related products manufactured in Pakistan and the Asian region.
